 All our Finnish Lapphunds and Border Collies are our family pets, and live in the house with us.  But as a hobby, the girls are shown, with some success (We are grateful to all the families who show our Finnish Lapphunds making Elbereth the Top breeders in the UK).  Puppies are only occasionally available, but we are always pleased to welcome visitors (by appointment) to see and talk about the dogs, especially the Finnish Lapphunds (suomenlapinkoira).  If you would like to come and chat about these breeds and see them at home, please feel free to contact us.


All the Finnish Lapphunds are hip scored and eye tested (and DNA tested for prcd-1 PRA), and the same for Border Collies, who are also hearing tested.

Please note: my dogs are not sold cash and carry, all people wishing to buy a puppy from us at Elbereth, must first come and visit, then agree to a home inspection.
