Fiona's introduction to Watercolours was as an employee member of the Midland Bank Art Club with traditional teacher, Keith Burtonshaw. His guidance led Fiona to a consuming passion for watercolours. Following the birth of her two children she gave up her job and became an almost full time artist. She instigated the formation of Willow Watercolours in 2001 and continues to push the boundaries for herself and the other members of the group. She holds regular classes for all levels of watercolourists at her home near Welwyn village.
More recently, as an active member of the Hertford Art Society, she started the HAS Watercolourists group which meets every Wednesday from 1.00 to 3.30pm in the Cowbridge Hall. This is not restricted to HAS members, all watercolourists are welcome for an additional visitors fee of £2.00. (See programme section for more details of activities)
