A highly skilled service where we can offer a range of options, that include working from commercial patterns, copying existing garments or we can produce patterns from client inspired designs to create well fitting attire. We have over 20 years experience making a variety of garments including wedding gowns, bridesmaid and Mother of the Bride, prom dresses and occasional wear as well as suits, jackets, tops and everyday wear. This service will typically take from 4 to 12 weeks and will require up to 5 fittings.

alterations

From lengthing and shortening garments, taking in and letting out to adding or removing trims and buttons or to just make your clothes fit better, we offer a comprehensive service where all requests will be considered. Items can usually be collected from between 5 and 12 days
We can also work with leather, pvc and rubber.

re-styling

This is a popular service that can be as subtle or as drastic as our clients and their garments dictate. We pride ourselves on being able to re-design a flamboyant wedding gown into a chic cocktail dress, re-fashion high-waisted trousers into sleek hipsters or cinche the waist on a boxy jacket, your imaginaton is our incentive.

repairs

Replacing broken zips, patching and darning, re-lining items of clothing or even re-stitching a button or torn seam, no request is too small.

soft furnishings

From fully lined curtains, tie-backs, swags, tails, pelmets and valances to cushions, pillowcases and duvet covers our soft furnishings service takes around 14 days to complete.
