"As
music is the poetry of sound, so is painting the poetry of sight
..."
- James Mcneill Whistler
Guitar Art Gallery
In our quest to learn, understand and improve
our guitar playing, it is both interesting and useful to study
historical and modern works of art that feature the guitar. It
helps us to understand much about style, technique, construction
of instruments and interpretation.
The paintings are not shown in any form of order,
this is necessary as it is useful to mix the modern with the old.
Eventually I will put in links to make the pictures
bigger with more info. email
