I thought Carrie's poem was a lovely drawing of that safe little haven we can escape to from time to time, but only for short periods as sometimes the monsters lurk even there.

I hope to get some of these illustrated soon, any offers out there?

Remorse must be dealt with and then put to one side. Many of the experiences of contemporary writers strike a note of familiarity in me that is frequently luminous, as well as stimulating. Like abysmal clefts in the spirit, remorse can seldom be obliterated. It must be painted with fresh feelings that console and pacify. Don’t replay the events like a continuous loop of film. What a terribly pointless thing to do . Make room for new experiences, that will aid the replenishment of those great, self-inflicted lacerations in our existence.
