Reviews of The Captain's Dilemma

 

I particularly like 'The Captains Dilemma'.It is technically very good, with unforced rhyme and cadence;but it is the real feeling of the dilemma which hit me.The Captain's noble instinct, to give the mother comfort by emphasising the nobilty of her son and his passing, is overtaken by brutal reality and the cold,ugly truth of war and death.
