Glenafton 1 Arthurlie 1
West Of Scotland Super League, Premier Division
Saturday 8th March 2008
Loch Park, Glenafton

As in the corresponding fixture at Dunterlie earlier in the season Arthurlie and Glenafton shared the points after a 1-1 draw with the home side netting with the last kick of the ball.
Arthurlie dominated the early play and took the lead in the 19th minute when Alan McFadden flicked home Lee Sharp's corner. Just after the half hour and the 'lie were reduced to ten men when Stephen Gallacher picked up 2 quick yellow cards, the second for a tussle with Stevie Agnew. However just four minutes later and it was ten aside when Glens David Gormley was shown a straight red card for an off the ball kick at Martin Hughes.

The second half saw Glenafton take the game to Arthurlie but they suffered a set back when Stevie McGregor tackled Sean Winter on the halfway line and as both players lay on the ground the Glens man kicked the Arthurlie midfielder and he was shown a red card. Arthurlie had a fabulous chance to kill the game late on when Stevie Aitken played in Dave Williams but Gary Matthews saved and Alan McFadden couldn't convert the rebound. With the last kick of the ball Glenafton leveled the game when Frankie Haggerty fired in a super free kick from 18 yards.
