I thought I would add some landscapes since it is christmas; it's more traditional. I have been neglecting the site a bit and so to get me going i am going to broaden my horizons a bit. This painting was done from straight from my imagination.

polly's painting

I did this painting for Renae, she loves her conures. I think she has a total of five just now. considering the colors on the bird and the palette I use I can see how it would be a obvious subject matter. It was a tougher job than I could have imagined, but satisfaying all the same.

Stephens painting

Meet my latest creation - Stephens picture is unique in that it was done from a photograph, almost all the paintings I have done are from pictures sent online. I wonder what he will think when he see's himself online. He's a good bit younger here than he is now but this is one of my favourite images of him.

Rays painting

I have to admit I believe this is my best work - they are getting better I think. Ray's picture was sent to me via Renae, a mutual friend, so word's getting around that there's a working artist online. Havent had the pleasure Ray but I hope you like the work. send me a e.mail and tell me what you think.

painting of petey the dog

This is a painting of petey. It was born using the standard paint facility in windows 98. When I'm painting I like to feel a flow, and I think the colour and style of this work show that well. It was a real surprise how the red and blue worked off each other, and I was well pleased with the results. This was the first dog I did.

painting of jennifer

Jenn seemed pleased with her picture, and I have to say so was I. I struggled for a while to achieve something I was content with, but it was worth it.

The hands were a challenge and its amazing to see how colors this bright can work, hope to speak to you soon Jenn, and good luck with your degree.

painting of penny

Larger views of faces are harder, There are more contours to contend with,I think I was trying to outdo the smile.

Penny seemed happy with the effort I put in. These three pictures were all done from, and on the computer screen.

self-portrait

This was the first painting I did: you can probabley see the concentration in my expression. The work was done from the mirror at my desk and it's a fair likeness.

All the paintings on this site were done on the computer and I plan to update and develope the site, adding to it often. I hope you will return often to this site to see it grow, and e.mail me with your thoughts and suggestions - I'm always looking for development advice.
