The
Nevis String Quartet is a lively young Glasgow based
ensemble. The quartet plays for functions and corporate events
and have been presenting concert performances around Scotland
and the North of England since their formation 2 years ago.
They have enjoyed a variety of concert settings from the
Falkirk Young Artists'
Performing Society
to performing for Artlink, which is a
charity bringing music to people who otherwise could not hear
live music.
The
quartet is keen to promote
contemporary Scottish Music and are proud to have performed
Kenneth Dempsters first quartet 'Under the Hammer', whilst
working with the composer.
