Relationship ... because we
want these groups to be places where members of this church grow in
their
relationship with God... and with one another.

Encouragement ...
because in order to be able to live as
Christians, we need the help and encouragement of other members of the body
of Christ.

Adoration (another word for Worship) ...
because we become stronger as we come together
to worship Jesus.

Learning & Laughter ...
because we enjoy being with other members of God’s family.
What happens in a REAL group?
There are four main ingredients in our REAL group meetings...
- Welcome - time to chat
- Worship - time to draw near to God
- Word - time to talk about how the Bible can be relevant to us.
- Work - time to pray for others, or it may be some other activity.
Every REAL group will also include social
activities, meals together, trips out, whatever! These times of fun together
help members to get to know each other better, and to develop strong
friendships. They can also be times when you bring someone to meet a few of
your friends in St. John’s Community Church.
