Community Care Group

Our Community Care group invite, by personal invitation, members of the community to teas, suppers, concerts, service, outings etc. These are often aimed at the elderly, but all who discover an event is happening (Maybe from or What's On dairy) are invited to come. We ask that you contact the Parish Office in the first instance to request a place. Donations are accepted to help to cover the costs.

Funerals

Remember those special times with your loved one with a service at St John's Community Church. We can play extracts from their favourite CD or DVD/Video in a unhurried, peaceful environment. We can also provide personalised service sheets.

St John's Churchyard now has no new grave plots, however re-open of family plots is possible. There are still plots for the burial of cremated remains of past parish residents.

For Funerals, Burial of cremated remains, Memorial Services, please contact the parish office (01543 304611) or Revd Duncan Leake  (01543 306649)

CHURCHYARD NOTICE

As from Monday 28th August the grass in the churchyard will be cut by the Operational Services team of Lichfield District Council, and the cost of this will be funded by the council.  We are grateful for  the work of our contractor, Mr. Grundy who over the years has improved and maintained the churchyard. We look forward to seeing the District Council keep it to it’s present high standard. Any comments or queries about the grass cutting should be made to Operational Services at 01543 308859.

To love God and others in the name of Jesus
