The adventure begins at the Daedalus slipway, Lee
on the Solent, home of Solent Skiers jet-ski club with a Polaris demo day by Seascape
Marine. Unfortunately Dude was on call and unable to get out on the
brand new MSX150. Undaunted by this set back Dunk Dude popped down
to have a look at the wares on display and to say
"Hello!". As well as the Polaris range of Personal
Watercraft, Seascape were also demonstrating the Stealth and a motorized
surf board.
H20 Demo, Leisure Lakes open
weekend
Dude then got up very early next morning along
with the twins (Riva Bill and Tigger) to make the long trip north to
Preston where the MSX150 was to be main attraction for H20 Leisure Sport's
open weekend. They all had a great time and were able to try the
Octane as well as the 150. Dude met up with some old pals and
everyone got hammered on the Saturday night, even the DJ!
On Sunday Kato and Donna
made the trip north after hearing what a great time the others were
having! The Polaris demos continued and speed
runs were also part of the entertainment. Jonny D put in the most
spectacular time of the afternoon at 52mph, without the Octane! Riva
Bill sadly never made it to the gun after unexpectedly finding Ben Nevis
before he had time to hide again!
The British Freestyle Display Team were on hand
to entertain the crowd over both days and put on an excellent synchronized
show. Big up, freestylaz!
Top weekend! The Dudes want to do it
again! Thanks for your h2o-spitality!
