BLACKBURN VEHICLES AT RENNIES
A special gallery has been added to the Photo Library.

This gallery is devoted to images of Blackburn vehicles that were sold to Rennies of Dunfermline, and it is with my thanks to David Love for supplying the images.

TRAM AT QUEEN'S PARK
The 'Holy' Grail' of images of Blackburn Transport, a picture of a tram at Queen's Park terminus has at long last been reached.

My thanks go to the grand-daughter of conductor Bob (Robert) Pixton for sending a picture of her Grand Father posing with a tram at the destination

NEW HOME FOR THE DENNIS TRIDENTS
Former Blackburn Transport East Lancs bodied Dennis Tridents No.'s 1-5 have now entered service in their new home in Blackpool

1980 ROUTES and INFO
After more than 20 years being 'lost' in my attic, I have found my 1980 Timetable

From this I have been able to add info for the period and also an additional route listing.

Also two town centre loading points maps have been added and are included in the 1980 routes page

NEW MODEL
The Little Bus Company to release new model

The East Lancs bodied Dennis Dominator in the style of Blackburn's No.'s 131 and 132 vehicles, is to be available later this year.

PHOTO LIBRARY
At long last the COACHLINES section of the Blackburn Transport Photo Library has been updated

Fifty-eight images have been added, many never seen before.

My thanks to Michael Morton for allowing access to his personal collection

PHOTO LIBRARY
Further updates to the Blackburn Transport Photo Library have been completed

All the TD and TS galleries now have individual pages for each vehicle

An additional 38 images have been added to the Photo Library, inc Guy Arabs, PS1s PDR1s and AN68 vehicles

PHOTO LIBRARY
The Blackburn Transport Photo Library section of the website has been updated

All galleries from TD5 No.'s 40-53 to Guy Arab 6LW No.'s 140-157 now have individual pages for each vehicle, to bring the site in-line with the galleries from Guy Joburg's onwards. Galleries for the remaining TS and TD series will be updated shortly.

Hope the change is to your liking.

1954 TIMETABLE
I have recently acquired a 1954 Omnibus Timetable and will be able to glean much info from it.

As a result the BUS ROUTES section has been updated

Ex-Blackburn Leyland Atlantean AN68 No.15 is up for sale

The vehicle is currently being offered on auction site Ebay.

CHAPTERS UPDATE
CHAPTER 15 of the Tramway History has been updated

Additional information has been added to 1949 including Fare Stages list, Timetable and Church route stopping places

PHOTO LIBRARY UPDATE
A FURTHER 28 images have been added to the Blackburn Transport Photo Library galleries.

Seven of the images are from the estate of the late Charles Pickup and my thanks to Alan Parkin for permission to use these photos.

A further eight images are from the John Law collection and my thanks to John for giving me access to his collection

The Photo Library has ben updated

The tramway section of the Photo Library has been updated with a newly discovered image of 'Siemens' car No. 33 in original condition.

To supplement the Photo Library, the Blackburn Transport NET Video Library is now on-line...

I have at long last got round to posting short WMV clips of trams and buses.
