| These vehicles were
delivered between July 1976 and Aug 1979
No.'s 125-130 were the first batch of
vehicles fitted with two-piece platform doors, and
also had a modified seating arragement in the lower
deck, with seating capacity reduced to 43. This batch
were also delivered with carbon black ribboned bottom
to the rear 'bustle', this became standard on all
subsequent deliveies. From No. 125 onwards 'reverse'
stairs were fitted to all new vehicles.
No.'s 105-116 had green vinyl seating
on both decks, No.'s 117-124 had red vinyl seating
on both decks and No.'s 125-130 had red moquette seating
in lower saloon and red vinyl in upper saloon. No.
130 was delivered with square rear lights (as per
143-147) and without carbon filter bumper |
