Dependent, the renowned Europan/German Industrial. Electronic and EBM label Dependent has relaunched itself after a 2 year hiatus. It is forming a partnership with the other highly regarded label Metropolis Records and both labels will merge some of their artist rosters

Owner Stefan Herwig comments on the decision to reopen: "We have constantly been getting encouraging mails from fans asking us to reopen or continue operations as Dependent. We were also surprised, as we did not think that our absence from the European industrial scene would have created such a noticeable gap, but I think that it has. I was particularly shocked to discover some absolutely amazing new recordings and newcomer bands being unable to find label support and getting lost in the vast pool of mediocre bands on the internet".
