Paul has passed over the brewery scrapbook... excerpts from this will be added when time allows.


8/2/2002 We have at long last got some tasting notes out of Paul. These will be put up on the site along with the current range of pump clips as soon as possible.

The official Launch of The Anglo Dutch Brewery took place at the West Riding Refreshment Rooms, Dewsbury Station on Monday 27th November.

On offer to a gathering of local CAMRA members, press and other guests, as well as the regular bar flys were:
  "Kletswater" - (3.9%ABV)
  "Ghost on the Rim" - (4.5%ABV)
  "Tuffet Spotter" - (5.6%ABV)

The first test brew of "Ghost on the Rim" was delivered to the West Riding Refreshment Rooms, Dewsbury Station and pulled for the public early on Thursday afternoon - 16th November.
The 18 gallons lasted approximately four hours!
It was described as very well flavoured!

The speed of consumption was much to the annoyance of the people who came over to attend the lecture on Whitakers Brewery that evening... still the Old Tom and XXXX (re-created by Durham Brewery for that event) made up a little for our loss!
