An index of freely downloadable mp3s and other audio files by Tom Joad and his musical collaborators, Ian Jacks and Gerry Dempsey, are hosted at the Open Source Audio Archive. Some of them are in the high quality lossless .flac format.
I used to be a member of a stringband called Shake that Little Foot. While it was in existence, it made a recording and the tracks are available for download at the Internet Archive. See the photo at the top right of this page which was taking straight after the recording session in 1993.
Here also is a flac plugin for Winamp.
I can also mail audio CD-Rs if required. E-mail me for details.

This was a recording done on my home PC. Ragtime Larry, a promising young violinist in his late teens, dropped by one Sunday in 2004 and learned this tune on the fiddle from scratch, without notation, in about 20 minutes. He then played the bodharan (for the first time in his life!) and added the percussion track to this recording.
