The Mytchett, Frimley Green and Deepcut Society is a non political, non sectarian and non racial organisation whose interests are in you, the residents. With valuable local knowledge and the capability of working closely with our local Councillors our aims are to . . .

• Preserve and enhance the amenties for the residents in the three villages.
• Support residents concerns to the local authorities.
• Fight for urban and environmental values that are threatened by development, exploitation or authoritarian decisions.

We need a strong membership to enable us to be representative of the local population. To have a voice in your future, please join the Society now. The more members we have, the more influence we have!

Ideally, the Society would like all the people of the Mytchett, Frimley Green and Deepcut to join the Society. There are two meetings a year held in April and October at St Andrews Church Hall. We have a topical speaker and a question time with our MP, local councillors and the police.

We also hope that some of you will volunteer to join the Committee. The Committee meets monthly to keep informed of the villages’ affairs, to action any support required by our voice in the community and receive feedback from other events. The Society is in a unique position in being able to work directly with the Council Officers and Councillors, at this time it has a representative on the Farnborough Areodrome consultative committee which means that the views of the local people can be represented at an early stage.

Attendance at the public meetings is free for members.

Currently the cost of membership is a minimum of £3 per household per year.
This can be paid by Standing Order, to a committee member or at either of the public meetings.
