Missing
Do you know what happened to Ethel Minnie Baker, lather known as 'Eileen' and as 'Mrs. Christou'?
On behalf of her elderly son, I am trying to trace the whereabouts, or death, of Ethel Minnie Baker, known as 'Eileen', who was born on 2.7.1914 at Manor Park, London, England, the daughter of Herbert Baker and Ethel Mary Mitson.
She was last heard of during World War II, when her son was evacuated from London.
Her son last heard news of her at Christmas 1942, but has heard nothing of her since then; he is now aged 74 and has spent most of his adult life trying to find her - doesn't even have a photograph of her.
He has tried 'The Salvation Army' & the former 'Traceline' search systems, without trace.
He is also trying to trace her brother, Thomas William Baker, who was born on 30.10.1916 at Manor Park, London, England, in the hope that he or his family may know something about her, and that they may have a photograph of her.
If you can help with any information that may help find what happened to either of them, please contact me. If confidentiality is an issue, I am prepared to act as a 'go-between' and will not reveal the source of any information.
[This request for help is from an unrelated contact who has tried everything to find what happened to his Mum]
