Pistyll Rhaeadr - West of Oswestry.

Pistyll Rhaeadr is a beautiful waterfall at the end of a four mile drive up a valley, from the village of Llanrhaeadr - ym - Mochnant in Northern Wales. The water cascades 240 feet down a sheer cliff, with a path leading to the top from the car park below. There is also an attached restaurant / tearoom where you can sit and enjoy the views

Directions:

Pistyll Rhaeadr is accessed from the village of Llanrhaeadr - ym - Mochnant. This village can be reached from Oswestry via the B4396, or from the Northerly B4580.

Restaurant Tan-y-Pistyll

The restaurant / tearoom has a rustic appearance, with a log fire in winter. There is seating for 38 people indoors, and outdoor benches with full views of the waterfall to enjoy whilst having a pint. Opening hours are 11am until 5pm; (winter) and 11am until 10pm (summer)
