The Stay at Home Miniaturists Club
I am a member of this internet based club, we have members from all over the world so there is always someone to talk to, its like 24hr dolls house club. We have online classes and workshops, partake in swaps and challenges as well as competitions and the best thing about this miniatures club is that I can be at my club all the time Below you will see some challenges, swaps and the products of on line classes that I have done |

This is me and some members of the club, we all met up at Miniatura in Sept 2004. From the back it goes Ali, from Scotland, then there is me grinning, at the Front is Pam, then its Angie who lives not far form me and then Ann who lives not far from Angie |
From this to this this was the my first challenge when I joined the club. It was to finish an unfinished kit. I was sent the greenery and flowers from Angie in the other photo. I call this Green Gables |

This was a class in making a picnic basket, I loved making it so much as I had some supplies left over form the kit I made a 1/24th scale one |
this was our spring swap, my first swap in fact, this is what I sent Chris in France, a 1/24th filled bookcase and a 1/12th kimono below is what I received from her, some animals for the secret garden and a wonderful wartime cookbook (well thumbed)

I made the quilt for Linda for her nursery, in return she crocheted this fine blanket. Isn't it gorgeous. |

This was a swap between junior members, my 12 year old Hollie made the quilt and dreamcatcher, and 14 year old Julie made the carpet |

My 10 year Sara swapped with Sarah in New Zealand, Sara made Sarah, a table made with lollipop sticks, a table cloth, some plates and mats and lots of tins. |
Sara asked for some Christmas things for her return swap. These are all the things Sarah in New Zealand made. |

I made this book for Caz, after I read her story about her Tudor ghosts that are at the top of her Georgian house, the story fair brought a tear to my eye. (and my mums and my youngest Sara) So I was inspired to put in down in print, here is the result, I posted it off to Caz, she didn't know she was getting it, so it was a complete surprise when she got back off holiday click below to read the story |
