STAN HARLAND
Born in 1942 in Manchester, Stan
is a self-taught artist. He left
school at the age of 15 and has
worked as a printer for most of
working life, completing 25 years
at Manchester University. After
taking early retirement from the
University in 2005 he currently
works as a technician/teaching
assistant at Whitworth High
School.
Stan has attended life drawing
classes since 1969 and has
developed a particular interest
in rehearsal/performance
drawings in the field of Drama,
Dance and Music, working mainly
in pastels and oils.
