I love to paint and do so using a variety of media on different
surfaces from canvas to china and porcelain.
My paintings are a response to experiences and contain an
element of realism. I work in acrylic and oils and often use
collage sympathetic items to form a surface upon which my
painting develops, making each piece of work quite individual and
unique. I have built up a body of work based upon memories of
growing up in India and entitled A Reflective Journey, which has
been on exhibition in two County Museum galleries
I have since embarked on another body of paintings entitled Via
the Grane that symbolizes through landscape yet another period of
my life.
I use the process of painting to explore colour and texture and to
enjoy the wonderful qualities of paint.
