Step 1: Make sure the Sun Visor(s) are clean and dust-free to ensure a good bond between 'Velcro' coin and visor(s).
Step 2: Fix the first pad as shown (Picture 1). This dampens the vibration between the header-rail and sun visor when not in use (Picture 2).

Step 3: In order to prevent the two sections of the visor vibrating against each other, a second pad should be positioned on the outer edge of the sun visor's folding extension (Pictures 3 & 4).

Notes:
There are alternatives to using 'Velcro' Stick On Coins and possibly some of these would suit the application better, however, nothing we found fulfilled our exact requirements...
Black - To blend in with trim.
Soft - To absorb vibration and deaden sound.
Self-Adhesive - Easy to apply.
Size - Thick enough to do the job, but not obtrusive.
The position of the 'coin' in Picture 1 appears to apply to most cars as this is the common point of contact between the visor and header-rail. The pad in Picture 3 may need to be positioned differently depending on the point of contact between the two halves of the sun visor. Alternatively, you may prefer to use a pad on each outer corner (Picture 5).
