The garden had not been touched for a number of years, the first job at hand was to clear all the overgrown foliage, then to clear all the sheds and rubble that was there.

I had no design in mind, so at that time I just laid out a basic layout.  Over the years many changes have been made which you will see by some of the photographs.

I built this Gazebo in 1998 in memory of two brothers who died within a month of each other from cancer, I had to keep busy to cope with my grief.

 

New addition to the garden built in February 2003

 I have been having problems with an heron so I decided to build a Pergola over the pond hoping that it would stop the heron eating my fish, only to find it did not work. Since then I have bought an imitation Heron to place in the garden.  The pergola looked a bit dull so I bought a few small pots painted them with an assortment of colours and tied them together,  also put a few knick knacks on hope you like the effect.
