Victoria Cross (looking north-east)...........................................Victoria Cross (looking south-east)
Victoria Cross stands high on a hillside with wonderful views north across the village of Lastingham towards Spaunton Moor
The Cross was
erected in 1897 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee
Victoria Cross is plain but in fine condition and the views alone
from it make a visit well worthwhile
