Donna Cross is an old boundary stone situated in the col between Cold Moor to the east and Cringle Moor to the west
on the northern escarpment of the Cleveland Hills

The base stone is a natural boulder - a rectangular socket about 9 inches long is cut into it in which
only a small piece of the upright stone stem remains loosely placed.

A letter 'E' is engraved on the north side of the base representing the Emmerson family of Easby Hall, Easby
- on the south side of the base is a letter 'F' for the Feversham family of Duncombe Park, Helmsley
