Homebrew Equipment
4m
operation is almost all homebrew 2m and HF transciever driven
transverter based or using ex PMR FM equipment and antennas.
I am
currently building and designing a 4m transverter using a 2m rig to
drive it.
Simple
verticals, YAGI and wire antennas are easy enough to fabricate using
readily available supports from the local DIY shop and can be erected
without help, if care is taken.
