21st Nov 05 I started a secondment to the Warehouse Systems department, where I am to produce reports for the new depot, collect and distribute R.F. equipment to and from our RF service company for repairs.
Testing of modifications to the warehouse system, reporting of errors and re-testing. Training personnel on warehouse modifications.
Help to keep the host and warehouse systems aligned with regular stock reconciliation's and interface checks.
Reporting of warehouse system errors to the manufacturer. Oracle and SQL scripts to correct database errors.
08th Jun 03, Stock control Supervisor for the 06:00 – 14:00 Hrs shift. Working for The Outdoor Group at the Round Spinney Depot in Northampton. After spending a couple of months helping to test a new WMS we went live with it in July 03 and then rolled it out to the other sites in October 03. It has taken TOG from a paper-based system to R.F. barcode scanning.
I use MS Excel to write and produce the daily and ad hoc reports.
