Sven and Eric's Egypt

Eric was very interested in Ancient Egypt. He had been there a few times on holiday and the warm weather and friendly people never failed to impress him.

After Eric was stolen from the Kenton house hotel in London Sven vowed to continue his adventures in the land of the pharaohs, and after loads of preparation Sven finally set off to follow in the little Penguins webbed footprints

Throughout this part of the site Sven and Eric will show you loads of stuff from Ancient Egypt. As well as the photographs look out for 'Eric's interesting things' where he will give interesting facts about some of the pictures on that page.

Egypt is a country on the north coast of Africa

The river Nile runs the whole length of Egypt. Crops can only be grown along the narrow strip of land beside the river and beyond that it's all desert.

People who study Ancient Egypt are called 'Egyptologists'

The kings of Ancient Egypt were called 'Pharaohs'

All we have left to remember Eric by are his holiday snaps from his adventures. See his photos from Egypt and Cyprus in Eric's Travels
