For several years now I have maintained the Akhet Egyptology site which has been growing in popularity. With that has come an increase in the volume of Email which I receive from younger children looking for the answers to questions, or just for some basic information.

The Akhet site has also been a big hit with Teachers of children doing class projects. The one drawback of this was that the site is not really geared up for the requirements of a younger audience. For this reason Eric and I have decided to put together a resource specifically for a younger audience. Here no information will be to basic and no question too silly. We hope that people will feel free to ask questions without the fear of being tut-tutted at.

In addition I have included a range of books suited to the younger reader. These are available on line from Amazon.com, or from most good booksellers.

So If you have any questions or queries about this site, or there is anything you want added to help your budding Egyptologists please do not hesitate to ask. Similarly all feedback is gratefully received.
