My current model railway project is in Z Gauge i.e. 1:220 The key suppliers are Marlin and Micro trains so the available stock is a mix of European (mainly German) and American. My layout is a variation of one of marklins plans expanded to fit the available space and to add running interest.

I run a mix of locos and stock I do not conform to any particular proto-type if I like it and can afford it I run it, be it modern image, steam, diesel, electric, European or American. My aim is to make an interesting 3D moving picture in a comparatively small space i.e. 1.6 X 1 meters. Which to the uninitiated is the equivalent of a far size room in the more usual 00/HO scale, and as I live in a small flat space is a premium.
