Although born in Wegberg, Germany, I have lived for most of my life in Ramsgate, England though I now reside in Reading. Came out of school with a meagre selection of O'levels and after spending several years working as an Analytical Chemist proceeded to the next rung on the educational ladder, graduating with an honours degree in Chemical Physics at the University of Kent at Canterbury in 1994. Finding work wasn't easy and I crawled my way through a myriad of jobs before being drawn back into the twilight zone of student life. I became a Mistress of Science, once I'd attained a Masters in Chemistry at Reading University, and have lived in the town ever since. When redundancy hit me last year, I took the opportunity to devote more time to music which had paid me well throughout my student days.

I'm currently involved in several activities in the music business ranging from bass-playing with Swallow (Covers of Led Zep, Rush, Deep Purple etc), the Jason Manners Blues Band and A F Harrold and his All Star Band (performance poetry), to working as a bass technician and merchandiser across Europe for the likes of John Wetton, King's X, Arena, Pendragon and the Urbane.

I have met and enjoyed the company of an interesting yet exhaustively different range of friends throughout my life, some of which will be represented in some way or form on this page as a fair number of them are long haired men. There appears to be a distinct lack of decent web-sites on the net dedicated to long haired dudes so I felt obliged to help rectify this problem. :-)
