April 2009:

April already.....that must mean the start of the Bike Night season at MFN. We're very proud to announce that we'll be appearing on Wed 29th (lets hope for some good weather and a great turn out).

New news this month is that we've secured a couple of gigs at the Greyhound in Worksop. This is a new venue for us so we're really looking forward to making some new friends and maybe meeting some old ones too!!!

We've also just updated the website with some more gig dates and our brand new photo gallery. You'll need the latest Flash player installed to see it in all its glory but we're sure you'll agree it's well worth while. Once you get it open, try right clicking on any of the images and select full screen view......a truly awesome app!!! On the subject of photos, if anyone has got any old or new that they would like to share with us, please email them over. If they're even remotely decent we'll probably add them to the gallery.

March 2009:

Ok, so we've got the first two gigs with the new line up under our belt and things could not have gone better. Nice to see some old friends at South Wingfield -felt really good to be back and there are not many places friendlier than this.

On the 14th, we set off to Blackpool to play a new venue - the King Edward VII or the King Eddie to the locals. We didn't really know what to expect  but were soon greeted by some friendly faces from the Royal Oak and had a great time. Thanks Nina & the rest of the guys for making us feel so welcolme - can't wait for the next one!

February 2009:      Happy New Year For 2009!

After much speculation and indecision at the end of 2008, we are now delighted to tell you that Gatecrasher will be around for a while longer yet. Unfortunately Flick has decided to move on and officially played his last gig at Xmas. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank him for his contribution over the last few years and wish him success for the future.

Now for the good news; we are very pleased to announce that Phil Brown has agreed to join the band on a permanent basis. Phil has been around the Nottingham music scene for many years and has stood in on occasions in the past when we've required his services. He brings a great deal of experience and a slightly harder edge to the band which is already having a positive impact.

January has been a busy month in the rehearsal studio which seems to be going well. The existing set list is pretty well nailed now and we are well into the introduction of some new songs. Gigs are starting to be confirmed for 2009 and we kick off the year at one of our favorite venues (South Wingfield Social). We also confirmed a brand new venue in Blackpool.....can't wait! For more details see the giglist.
