This web site is an adaptation of the Third Year Poster I designed in the Autumn Term of 2001. The title for the poster was "Natural Products as Pharmaceuticals", but I decided to concentrate on penicillin as including all natural products used as pharmaceuticals in a poster would be slightly impractical! I have also included several extra pages in the web site that were not part of the original poster and this is mostly material that I have studied as part of my Medicinal Chemistry degree since the time of completing the poster. Below is a list of the contents of the site and you can return to this page at any time by clicking on the "Home" icon either at the bottom of the pages or by using the menu at the top .
