The BAY Jazz Club meets at Botany Bay Cricket Club, East Lodge Lane, Enfield, Middlesex. We are a members club, and welcome new members - you may find that we can also cater to other interests, from the strenuous (cricket and football at all age and skill levels) to the more relaxing. More details on some of the activities will be provided on the notice board page in due course. The Bay Jazz Club is run by a committee of the membership, elected annually, in the interest of the members - most of the bands have been recommended by members, who also provide valuable feedback in the annual polls.

Every Tuesday, Christmas and New Year excepted, you can hear some very good jazz - the style is mainly New Orleans, but we also host some fine exponents of the Chicago, Kansas City and San Francisco schools. The band stomps off at 8.30, but the bar is open from 8 to give you time to get a good Seat.

We are in the hamlet of Botany Bay, in the pavilion of the century-old cricket club; the pavilion has been extended and refurbished over the years, but retains an excellent view over probably the prettiest ground in the county. Your comfort is our goal, the club is centrally heated and newly carpeted.

Jazz and beer are natural partners, so the well-kept cask beers available are an additional temptation.
Whistling Rufus is performed here by, and with kind permission of, the David Jones Jazz Band
