Playing Music with OrganAssist

When you are running OrganAssist a simple playback control is visible at the bottom of most screens. 

This has the following features:

• Select a piece from the library using a drop-down list.
• Standard buttons for Play, Stop, Pause, Fast Wind, Fast Rewind, Previous Track, Next Track etc. 
• A numeric display shows the time remaining for this piece.
• If you have inserted Verse Markers this is displayed and can be changed.
• Sliders to change the tempo and (if the organ supports it) overall volume

You can also change the registration and expression settings by clicking on the screen at any time.

To assist in providing music in your absence you can set up a play list for someone else to run.  When you set this up you can insert pieces from the library plus comments.  You can preset the number of verses in advance.  You can set whether it will wait for the person to cue the track or set a number of seconds delay before continuing.

This is so easy to use that it is possible to run an entire service using only the Spacebar.  As each piece completes OrganAssist will highlight the next and pause as required.
