I have been with my wife Penny for 23 years. She is self-employed and works part-time as an optometrist. We have two sons, Neil, 18, who is at the University of Cardiff studying Mathematics and Computing and Adam, 17, who attends Barton Peveril College in Eastleigh. He hopes to study Mathematics at the University of Bath.
Penny enjoys running to keep fit and is a member of the Romsey Road Runners. She also enjoys reading, gardening and doing picture puzzles.
Neil is good at maths, enjoys computers and anything modern. Adam is also good at maths. He enjoys reading and is very keen on all things cycling related.
About to shoot the rapids, and get a soaking, on the river Ardèche.
