Our
two previous dogs were a sable and white sheltie called Daisy
and a Blue Merle called Josie. Between them they had seven good
litters. Both passed away in 2010, within the space of a few
weeks. Daisy's death was expected as she had suffered with
cancer for some time. But Josie's death came out of the blue.
Daisy's registered
name was Pepperhill
Uptown Girl,
her mother being
Mohnesee Sheer Magic at Pepperhill and the sire CH Mohnesee the
Illusionist.
Her first litter (sire CH Amethickeh the Wizard), she was a
proud mother and always
very attentive and protective. Her pups
had a good temperament and were nicely marked.
Daisy's second litter produced three pups (sire
Sheltam Golden Star)
and her last mating was to Champion
Morestyle Monsoon, which produced five excellent bitches. The
sire had a beautiful shaded auburn colour to his coat which gave
his offspring a similar but lighter shaded coat.

Here are two of the third
litter, Becky and Rio, photo by Steve Goodyear (new owner).
Picture taken at Bradgate Park, Leicester.
Josie was a Blue Merle her KC registered name was Watchwood Toil and
Trouble, her mother was Ceirrhig
Contentment and the sire was CH
Shelmist Bitz’n Pieces at Pepperhill.
She had three exceptional litters, the same
theme ran through all of them. They are either nicely sized Tri dogs and
bitches, very much alike Blair their sire, or light coloured large Blue
Merle dogs.
We
think all of our pups are great, but then along came Abby a Tri bitch
from the third litter. She has appeared at Crufts, owners Sandra Taylor
and Maureen Daniels of
