Coffee Bistro Holton Road Barry
The Clients, Kath and Steve wanted to create an image that they could brand for others to take to developments for this reason alone.
It was so important to get the first one substantially right and we were privileged to be part of these discussions.
Woodstock were aware that in the design we had to make as much space available for storage, that was practical to access in a limited working space.
The Dresser Unit was made in two pieces, a lower half with sliding doors and a long upper unit that wrapped around the return of the wall.
The top to this was shaped so that it did not project into the access to the kitchen, which would have caused hip injuries.
Woodstock made the following
1. Main Counter with gate and flap. Storage shelves behind and in the side of the counter, so no dead space.
2. Cupboard unit with flap, hiding waste inside.
3. Open Shelf on Cupboard, (Milk station)
4. Face Panel to front of fridge , shaped two pieces long.
5. Huge Dresser Unit and Cupboard below (That we only just managed to get in through the back door!)
6. 2 Metal Cupboards
7. L shaped unit/wall shelf fabricated to fit return of the wall, made in one piece, and wall panels.
8. The kitchen with Oak veneered doors, cupboards, shelves and worktops.
There are no photo’s of the kitchen. You will have to go there and see it for yourselves and enjoy the take 2 Coffee, cake and atmosphere.
