Ahh, finding money in a bin. Or on the road. Or
anywhere. Pennies, pounds or notes. This is why
most council workers turn up in the morning. One of my
colleagues had a habit of writing down how much money he had
found every day. He had a severe case of money
finditus. He would check telephone boxes to see if anyone
had left any change after a call. I think he had
increased his wage by about 10 pence a day over the many
years he had been working at the council.
