The Erewash Valley Woodturners Association was founded in 1993 by Keith Rowley and a few like minded friends. The inaugural meeting was attended by 75 people and the membership has been pretty stable ever since. The Association holds regular monthly meetings and additional events throughout the year. We produce a quarterly newsletter with information on future demonstrations and reports on past demos, and any other information of interest to our members. The Association has recently been awarded a Lottery grant from Awards for All. Which has enabled us to purchase two cameras, projector, screen and sound system to provide excellent enjoyment of demonstrations.
