Introduction & Information

Introduction

The aim of this web site is to share some of the many photgraphs I have taken of flora, fauna, lichens and fungi, and which would otherwise lie unseen in a box or on a computer drive, and, hopefully, to help people appreciate the joy of nature - which could be hiding in their own gardens. There is a strong bias towards Gosport, but Fareham the rest of Hampshire (UK), or further afield are not off limits.

I hope you enjoy looking at the site. If you spot any errors, misidentifications, broken links, etc., please let me know (see bottom of page).

Information

I am currently updating Deb's Web - I am moving up to HTML 4.01 and also to using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). I am learning the CSS as I go and it is not always a smooth transition.
I have had to drop the 'Site Tour' (the links to the next and previous pages), except in the Flora Gallery, as they made a great deal of work in maintaining the continuity of the site. I may even, eventually, go over to just showing the images in a basic pop-up browser window, rather than within a formatted HTML 'page' as is the case at the moment.
I try to maintain all of the inter-site links but, inevitably some will be missed or point to the wrong item - please feel free to let me know about any problems (see bottom of the page).
