James Griffin

James Griffin was the other lead singer in Bread, but unfortunately, most of his songs written in Bread were not released and there for, not hits, but to some fans Jimmy is Number One, and some of his now noted tracks are 'Too Much Love', 'Look What You've Done' and 'Shes The Only One'. James brought his great voice and melody to Bread's albums and I've found that David Gates' songs are not the same (live) without James' soulful voice as the harmony, James is also a great guitarist and played solo guitar on many of Bread's songs.

In 1970, James Co wrote 'For All We Know' with Robb Royer (Former member of Bread) which won him an academy award and the song later went on to become a hugely successful hit for 'The Carpenters'.
