David Crawt Comments on Bread's Album Titles

I've recently been giving some thought to the titles of each of the six 'Bread' studio albums.
The last three are easy, they were simply named after the songs 'Baby I'm-A Want You', 'Guitar Man' & 'Lost Without Your Love'.
But what about the first three?
The word 'Bread' is either a noun which means 'food made from baked flour & water' or a Slang word for 'Money'.
The strange thing here is that the group were named after being stuck behind a Bread van in traffic so you would expect the cover of the first album to show pictures of loaves of Bread, but it doesn't. It has actually interpretted the name as having the other meaning i.e. Money.
Now, the title of the second album is VERY interesting, 'On The Waters'. What could this possibly mean?
Well, I know that David was into sailing and had a ketch but I'm sure that was a few years after this album came out. So, what's it all about then?
Well, here is my theory, check out 'Ecclesiastes 11:1'.
This verse from the bible says, "Cast your bread on (the surface of) the waters for you will find it after many days".
The next verse helps to explain this and, basically, it means that you need to diversify in what you do and, if you send your goods/products etc. far and wide, you should prosper from their returns.
Isn't this exactly what happened with 'Bread', the group?
Their music was diverse having much variety in style. And then, when it was heard around the world (cast on the waters), the commercial rewards which came back were great.
Now what about 'Manna'.
Well that's fairly simple, a word from the Bible which means 'miraculous food which sustained the Israelites in the wilderness'.
Well, in the context of the group 'Bread', that would read 'miraculous music which has sustained many throughout their lives'
