Celtic Assault - dark mystic metal with a mix of mystery... an overall enthralling listening experience. Enjoyable music to head bang to.. and music that appeals to the masses. Great band, great music. Long live Celtic Assault!

Tunetown music magazine review of "Cant't Walk Away and Midnight Chancer

After comparing us to bands such as Guns n Roses and early Megadeth, Tunetown went on to say:

"Guitar playing is in parts blistering. The songs are well constructed with in your face vocals and big choruses"

Noiseville music magazine review of the EP Society's Creation

Society’s Creation

The first two songs Can’t Walk Away and Midnight Chancer I’ve reviewed months ago, but this is Celtic Assaults full pay load, so I’ll skip to the third track Kama-Loka. Kicking off with yank-tinged Nu-Metal, the song is a mix of rap and old school thrash riffs and straight to my mind comes Faith No More and they were doing this music fourteen years previous, so this style of music isn’t new but this song does belt along and I’m actually digging it. Bullfight is moody with a cod-Spanish flamenco riff. Wez Rosser growls away quite comfortably supplied by some ‘normal’ singing from Dean Jeffery and guitar. Whilst Leon Rosser bursts out at every available chance. V and Sophie Bleeker keep the tempo in check. Breeds a Killer has a groove, before that eighties Megadeth riff can’t be contained much longer. Final track The Psychometrist is great. Overall then Celtic Assault have released a tuneful, riff laden debut, thumbs up!
