Increase up to 9MB memory for all razr V3 phones

You now need to download a free software called P2KMan. Visit

to download P2KMan and on the same page go thru the tutorial which explains how to use P2KMan. Once you learn how to use P2KMan following is a list of files and their folders shown in P2KMan which you can safely delete to increase your memory:

Always make backups of every file that you're going to delete. Take note of the attributes of those files too by using p2kman. Let's go folder by folder starting with the root:

DL_DB_INET_RECORDS (provider shop links)
moto.tcf (only delete this if you don't want Moto listed in your themes)

Delete the Scarlet and Silver directories. Do not delete the Moto directory.

THERE YOU HAVE IT !!! RESTART YOUR MOTO V3 and YOU WILL HAVE over 9MB of memory (over 9000 kb of memory). To see how much total memory and free memory you have you can go into >>>MEDIA>>>PICTURES>>>MENU>>>VIEW FREE SPACE.


To set your phone book search option
Go to Phonebook Menu>Setup>Search Method>Change to Find

Increase your video lenght up to 40 seconds more.
If you want to maximize your video length:
Go to: Message Center Menu > Inbox Setup > MMS Message Setup > Size Limit: None
Then GO to: Video Cam>Video Menu(middle button on top of keypad>Videos Setup>Video Lenght> set it to MMS.
