Milford Shingle over to Hurst Castle is a steep shingle beach facing the Isle of White and the Needles. There is easy access to the Milford end with a car park on the Beach. The Beach has many groines along it's length. Hurst Castle is a good place to fish as it can be fished in most conditions, as the beach curves around, However it is quite a trek to walk there! A boat service does opperate from Keyhaven. I have fished here only once using a two hook flapper in daylight and caught a cold, this was when I very first started out and picked the wrong tide etc..... However I will come back here again and fish at a sensible time. There is a bait/tackle shop in Milford
