So close...

I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but Wales are one step close to a Grand Slam - They've just beaten France 24-18 in what was easily the best game of the tournament so far.

Down at half-time, Wales came out and scored two tries in the opening minutes of the second half, both by Martyn Williams.

France then levelled the score, but Steven Jones took Wales back into the lead with a penalty kick and drop-goal, giving Wales their third win of the championship, and taking them to the top of the table.

I'll be watching the England - Ireland game with great interest tomorrow... ;)

Six Nations Update

This weekend was the rest week for the Six Nations Championship.

As it stands, Wales are doing well with two wins under their belt, but England aren't doing quite so well...

I'm Singin' & Body-Poppin' In The Rain

Remember Gene Kelly jumping in and out of puddles in this classic film?

Well, watch this advert for the new Volkswagen Golf and see it in a whole new light... it's absolutely brilliant!

The Six Nations Tournament, 2005!

The boys have won, it was 11-9 to Wales!!!! Wahay!!!!

For the first time in twelve years, Wales have beaten England in Cardiff. It was a brilliant game with a nail-biting finish, but it was a joy to watch.

England's Mathew Tait had a trial by fire - in his first match for England he was unceremoniously tackled by Gavin Henson (pictured above), who also went on to kick the winning goal.

Could 2005 be the year for a Welsh victory? It's too early to say, but they're certainly looking good...

The Six Nations Tournament, 2005!

The first game of this years Six Nations has just finished, and France are in the lead...

However, the most important game is next - England v. Wales! Depending on the result, I'll either be phoning my brother (England supporter) to gloat, or he'll be phoning me (Wales supporter). Our mum is Welsh and dad is English, so we've both picked opposing countries to cheer on... I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the boys in red!!!!
