Every little helps...
As you know doubt know, a massive earthquake caused massive flooding in Asia on Sunday. The current official death toll is 76,682 (the official toll only includes those known to have died, so the actual death toll will no doubt be much higher).
The British Red Cross have an online donation page. Please click the link and make a difference - every penny helps (and check the Gift Aid donation box at the top of the form - it makes your donation go further by allowing the Red Cross to claim the tax back on your donation).

Drumming Santa!
I've bought a Drumming Santa!!!
You might think it looks tacky (okay, it is tacky), but this Santa rocks!!! He plays five different tunes and drums along in time with them!!!! If you fancy seeing him in action, you can download a little video clip of him here.

Quiz Night!
I've just got back from a quiz night in aid of Breast Cancer - and we finished fifth out of 28 teams!
Fortunately, we had a number of film questions - name the film (from the photo), name the film (from the tagline - you know, like "Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water" was the tag for Jaws II), and an entire round on James Bond - the rest of my team never really got a look in on those rounds! No prizes for guessing how much time I've wasted in cinemas over the years... ;)
They also held an auction to raise more money for the charity, and two of the lots were of special interest to me - the first was a flight in an old biplane, and the second was a return flight in a private aircraft to Cherbourg for a day's shopping. I've never taken part in an auction before, but as these were good lots and it was for charity (I kept reminding myself of that!), I bid on both, but unfortunately I couldn't keep up with the bidding... However, my colleague Rachel successfully won the France trip, so that was good!
All in all, it was a most enjoyable evening!
